Nicole Galloway who is doing a charity apprenticeship is arranging a fundraising challenge to raise money for the charity Child.org. The sponsored Space-Hopper bounce of 6 miles (can also be done in relay teams) along the John Muir Way from Prestonpans to Musselburgh takes place on Saturday 15th April.
They also want to tie in a couple of Guinness World Record attempts along way. The Fastest time to complete 100 metres on a Space Hopper and Farthest distance on a Space Hopper in 1 hour will be challenged.
Child.org is an international development charity that reduces inequality and does what works – they give children in Uganda, Kenya, Sierra Leone and Ghana a good start in life by providing them with a good education, nutrition, health and water and sanitation as well as a roof over their heads. They break down the barriers that keep the poorest or most disadvantages children in the world from good health and good education – they put the money where it’s needed and tailor their approach to each community in need.
Nicole has already got a team of 9 and would welcome anyone wishing to take part and raise money for an incredible charity!
