KIDS decided to use Space Hoppers to be the centre of a new fundraising campaign as it they had brought joy and smiles to children since the 1970’s – the same decade that KIDS was founded.
They have run a competition to design a space hopper. An expert Spacehopper judging panel will choose the winning entries that will be exhibited at a special venue in central London in September.
They also decided to raise funds and awareness of the charity by attempt to break a world record. As they want to guarantee to beat the world record they have decided to postpone the event until Spring 2016 to ensure they have enough entrants to break the record.
