Anthony Cook’s attempt to bounce from Chippenham to Calne on a Space Hopper ended in the back of an ambulance.
The 7.79 mile challenge was in aid of Cancer Research UK however Anthony had to stop after advice from a paramedic just before the 6 mile mark near the Soho Inn, in Derry Hill. The paramedics said Mr Cook was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration.
The weather didn’t help being a wet day which made the ground slippery.
Although he could not complete his challenge, Mr Cook said he was delighted to have raised more than £1,000 for the charity.
